We invite you to attend our final coffee chat of the Spring 2017 semester. Nigel Walker, Deputy Director of Research for the National Toxicology Program (DNTP) at the NIEHS/NIH, will be here to meet M.S. and Ph.D. students from all Pratt departments.

Short Bio: Dr. Nigel Walker received his PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom. Soon after his graduate work, Dr. Walker worked as a Postdoctoral Trainee at The Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health. More recently, he has transitioned as the Deputy Division Director of Research and Science, where he serves as a senior scientist and science advisor to analyze scientific protocols. He also has ties to the Center for the Environmental Implications of NanoTechnology (CEINT) program at Duke, as he leads the Nanotechnology Safety Initiative and creates opportunities for our PhD students.
